We started the day with breakfast at Tim Hortons, I got a herb & garlic pastry and a bacon & egg english muffin. Later on my friend got me a venti iced strawberry oat matcha latte 1/2 sweet from Starbucks for the drive. Had to stop at a gas station for a gas top up + ice for the coolers before meeting my family for the long drive.

Originally we had planned to leave around 12pm, we ended up leaving closer to 11-11:30am.

In my car, I had my daughter and my friend. These kind of trips are so long and hard for little toddlers, because you need planned breaks where they can get out of their car seat and stretch their legs/walk around a little.

We met my sister and her family at a McDonalds, this was about less than 1/2 way there. For lunch I had a McDouble & 6 nuggets, now that I think of it, sounds like a lot of food, but, I slowly ate it while driving instead of practically in-hailing it before going on the road again.

It took us approximately 3-3.5 hrs to arrive at Sauble Falls Tent & Trailer Camp.

It was my first time shopping for a tent, honestly, I had my heart set on something much bigger.. and ended up with this little thing because I was attempting to be frugal.
First time sitting on her chair as it was intended to!
She normally doesn’t like being around my brother’s dog, but a weekend with them changed everything. She went to go pet him and even grabbed his leash to “walk” him.

Shortly after we got unpacked and setup, we started getting dinner ready.

Dinner was pretty much just a burger, but it was delicious and hit the spot. Took the photo before putting condiments on it, but my to go to for a burger is cheese, relish & mustard.

We haven’t been able to take her on a bike ride for a while, so we had to bring her bike with us.
Just had to take her to the park they had at the camp ground, she was having so much fun exploring the park.
We drove to the beach after 5pm, since that is when they have free parking. One of the first things we did there was go to Dairy Queen and get ice cream. My favourite.. Oreo Blizzard.
This girl is obsessed with ice cream.
Group photo having ice cream!
I haven’t gone on many walks with new areas lately, so here are some flowers I saw when we were at Sauble.

🏖️BEACH TIME:

If it was up to me and if I could afford the lifestyle, I could pretty much live at the beach.
Love this photo.

📸BEACH PHOTOGRAPHY:

After we got to walk in the water a bit and admire the sunset, we went back to the camp ground to have our bonfire.

My choice of snack during our first night of camping was SunChips. I was oddly craving it for over a month and decided to wait till camping to treat myself.

We also got to admire the stars. Which was a nice treat outside of the city.
