We started the day with breakfast at Tim Hortons, I got a herb & garlic pastry and a bacon & egg english muffin. Later on my friend got me a venti iced strawberry oat matcha latte 1/2 sweet from Starbucks for the drive. Had to stop at a gas station for a gas top up + ice for the coolers before meeting my family for the long drive.
Originally we had planned to leave around 12pm, we ended up leaving closer to 11-11:30am.
In my car, I had my daughter and my friend. These kind of trips are so long and hard for little toddlers, because you need planned breaks where they can get out of their car seat and stretch their legs/walk around a little.
We met my sister and her family at a McDonalds, this was about less than 1/2 way there. For lunch I had a McDouble & 6 nuggets, now that I think of it, sounds like a lot of food, but, I slowly ate it while driving instead of practically in-hailing it before going on the road again.
It took us approximately 3-3.5 hrs to arrive at Sauble Falls Tent & Trailer Camp.

Shortly after we got unpacked and setup, we started getting dinner ready.

Dinner was pretty much just a burger, but it was delicious and hit the spot. Took the photo before putting condiments on it, but my to go to for a burger is cheese, relish & mustard.

🏖️BEACH TIME:

📸BEACH PHOTOGRAPHY:

After we got to walk in the water a bit and admire the sunset, we went back to the camp ground to have our bonfire.

My choice of snack during our first night of camping was SunChips. I was oddly craving it for over a month and decided to wait till camping to treat myself.
