During our second day in Ottawa our friends had planned our morning to include Strawberry picking! Which was a blast, it was nice family time and believe it or not… but it was my first time going strawberry picking!

Family selfie during the wagon ride.
My daughter was pretty content sitting in the hay.
She LOVED eating the freshly picked strawberries!
So red & fresh! I’d 100% do this every year if I have the opportunity to do so. Farmers market would be second best. I haven’t been impressed with the berries in grocery stores lately.
Our friends that helped plan our weekend and gave us the best hospitality imaginable at their home! 💜
Self explanatory photo w/ our pickings.
Instantly started grabbing a strawberry the second I put the baskets down.
Huge slide at the farm! I was so nervous at first, thinking she’d just fly off me, but we managed just fine lol. Was a lot of fun.

After strawberry picking, we went back to our friends house and had a yummy BBQ there. Once we finished eating lunch, we headed back out to go to the Canadian Museum of Nature.

“Museum of the Moon was erected in the Queens’ Lantern to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 lunar landing in 2019”.

The main attraction at Canadian Museum of Nature were their owls, as they were at the exhibit for a limited time.

A Great Horned Owl.

I’m a suck for beautiful stained glass windows/murals.
Notre Dame Cathedral. Unfortunately it was closed due to a threat in the area. But the outside looks so nice.

I would definitely want to check the museum again the next time we go, when we’re less rushed. And hopefully we’ll be able to go into Norte Dame as well.
