We’ve tried many different seats, some that were okay and some we found completely horrible. We also found a couple of favourites that were both a win for us and a win for our little one.
Lets start with the one that absolutely didn’t work for us:
“Disney Minnie Mouse “Smile” Folding Potty Seat – Travel Potty Training Seat”.

The these was adorable and a great hit, BUT the foldable part didn’t seem sturdy, she felt as if she was going to fall into the toilet, not friendly with all toilet seats, and the foldable part also kept catching at her skin and hurting her. I definitely do not recommend this type at all.
Next, we have the ones that we felt were okay but worked well:
“Fisher-Price Toddler Toilet Penguin Potty Training Seat, Portable Chair with Handles for Kids and Removable Bowl”

Cute little character, does its job, easy to clean. However, my kid isn’t as excited to use this one.
“Orzbow Portable Potty Training Toilet for Boys and Girls with Storage Bag – Foldable Travel Potty Chair, Toddler Potty Seat for Indoor and Outdoor, Easy to Clean, Includes Free 40pcs Travel Bags, Gray”

I really liked that it came with a storage bag and was hoping this would be the ideal seat. But, my little one kept feeling as if she was going to fall into the toilet, it would slide around on the seat. I was paranoid that the leg parts were going to break from over use, so I’ve decided to use this one for when we do more outdoor related things, since it also comes with the bowl part for easy clean up.
Now onto the three potty seats that worked the best for us:
“Potty Training Seat, Toddler Potty Seat for Toilet with Soft PU Cushion, Non-Slip and Splash Guard+Safe Handles, Potty Toilet Trainer for Boys and Girls (White)”

This potty seat is a huge success in our bathroom upstaires. Has a comfy part of the seat and I like that it has handles, since I prefer her to hold the handles verses touching the actual toilet seat. Our seat is pink, so the colour stands out and pops for her.
“Baby Potty Training Toilet with Realistic Flushing Sound & Feel Like an Adult Toilet, Removable Pot, Toddler Potty Seat with Storage Tank and Toilet Paper Holder for Aged 1-3, (White-Grey)”

We have a potty just like this in our living room, only thing ours doesn’t have is the toiler paper holder. The compartment at the top is great for wipes and cream. The character stickers appear when wet. Really easy to clean with removable bowl and she loves flushing the toilet.
“Ginsey Minnie Mouse Mad About Minnie Soft Potty Seat”

This isn’t the exact pattern we have, but it’s still Minnie Mouse. Love the handles, compatible with most toilets and soft seat, came with a hook to hang on the side of the toilet (the one we got from Walmart, hook is sold separately on the Amazon one).
We would think that something like getting a potty seat would be so easy. But, every kid has their own comfort levels and preferences. So I can’t stress enough about how important it is to find the most ideal potty seat for your little one.
