Valentines this year fell on a Friday and it was also a long weekend which was a bonus!

Personally, one of the things I love doing around Valentine’s Day is to get Starbucks and some of their seasonal items, such as their heart sugar cookie.

I wanted to get their Chocolate-Covered Strawberry Creme Frappuccino, which was unfortunately sold out at the time. instead settled for the Pink Drink, which is always a good choice for a drink and still a Valentine colour.

Valentine Gifts from my Husband💕:

For dinner we went to Jack Astors as a family, we try to include my daughter during these kind of holidays.

One of my other favourite thing about Valentines is when the special menus come out, I’m such a foodie.

To start, we shared the Lobster & Crab dip, which all three of us really enjoyed.
I got a virgin Strawberry Daiquiri
Main course I got the NY Striploin with Lobster, Crab & Shrimp. Incredibly delicious. My Husband ended up getting chicken fingers with fries and my daughter had pasta (no photos of their meals).
For Dessert we shared the Sticky Toffee Pudding, which was also delicious. My daughter also had apple slices w/ caramel for dipping (not in a photo).
Always need to finish a good meal with a family selfie! 💜

The next day we were supposed to go see a play, which ended up getting cancelled and postponed due to weather. Since we already had a baby sitter, we decided to still take advantage and go watch Captain America along with going for a dinner date. We decided on Industria Pizzeria & Bar, we’ve often seen it when we go to the Cineplex Courtney Park location, but have never actually tried it till now.

It was snowing pretty bad all day.
We started with a Calamari. Served with a spicy tomato sauce.
Main course: pepperoni & mushroom pizza w/ half of the pizza with hot soppressata. It was delicious. We also had their garlic dip which was good with both the pizza and the calamari.

We don’t often get photos together as a couple. But, I love it when we do. 💜🥰

Where did you celebrate Valentine weekend? Do you have any specific traditions?
