It was our first time checking out Kiva’s Bagel Bakery & Restaurant. It was located near the comic shop we went to on Father’s Day.
The bakery portion was okay, I feel like the selection wasn’t that great, normally bakeries have that appeal on me where I feel the need to spend all this money on baked goods I want but shouldn’t have, but, this place… opposite reaction.
For the restaurant portion of the place. It did seem a bit of an older place. Some families were there, but mostly seniors. Which seemed to be kind of like regulars there.
We started with two diet cokes. They were both warm, but at least served with a cup of ice. At least my cup was filled with ice, my Husband on the other hand had a very pity amount of ice in his cup, which ended up melted before he could pour the pop in it.
I ordered grilled cheese w/ fries (to be honest the menu choices didn’t seem that great).
My Husband ordered some sort of egg sandwich (did not get a picture of it). Considering it is a bagel place, you’d think they’d have quite a few bagel choices, however, there was only 1-2 options and both were with poppyseeds. He mentioned to me the cheese was the best part 🤦🏻♀️😂.
It took a while for our food to come out. The waitress was constantly on her phone. Never came back to check on us to see if everything was good. Waited too long for our receipt, my Husband ended up having to go up to the front and asked if we were supposed to pay there, only then did the waitress say she’ll bring the bill to our table.
Would probably never go there again, nor do I recommend anyone to go there.
