As an early Birthday celebration for me, we took a family trip to Medieval times. It was mine, my husband and our daughter’s first time going and we all had a blast.
Here are some photos of our experience:
The weather was good driving on the way there, driving back home however was snowing quite a lot (don’t have an after photo). I absolutely love horses. And I of course needed a selfie with one. We went home with some souvenirs. The light up rose for my daughter and I was one of them. I got a wooden sword. We both got flags and my Husband came home with a dagger. the merch was all reasonably priced. I was always told that it’s a lot of food. But, considering the menu and the quality of the entertainment, I can 100% understand the pricing to get in. It looks so cool with the fog and the photo was pretty cool. Just had to share with you all. Our Knight was the red Knight. There was some entertainment with just the horses, which was awesome. They can even bow! Didn’t get to take a photo of the soup, I devoured mine before I even considered a photo. So here you can see some of my daughter’s soup lol. Again, I decided to dig in before taking a photo. The chicken was delicious and so was the corn. The potato was a little on the dry side, but still good. Dessert was the Eclair, they happened to have two pieces of cake left, so my daughter and I got one each. If I’m being completely honest, the cake was better than the Eclair. Could be because I’m not actually a fan of Eclair’s, or, it could be that I’m obsessed with cream cheese frosting.. and that was what was on the cake. And of course I wanted a copy of the family photo as a memory. My Mother-in-Law, my daughter, myself and my Husband in that order.
Overall, the experience was really good and I’d love to take my own parents and little brother there one day. And of course I’d love to go again with my Husband, our Daughter, and our Son when he’s older. I definitely highly recommend taking a family trip to Medieval Times if you’ve never gone before.
