For dinner tonight we were both lazy and I was somewhat craving wings. So, we ordered Wild Wings from Skip the Dishes. I figured, we order 5 different flavours, plus two appetizers and we’d have enough left overs for the two of us to have on Monday.

I haven’t had Wild Wings in a really long time. And honestly, I’m on the hunt for my top 5 wing places (so far I have 3 places on the top of my list, and the other places are either terrible, or it’s acceptable but not amazing). So if you have any suggestions for a good wing place in the GTA, let me know in the comments!

For the onion rings, I got gar par.. because why not 😅. They tasted pretty good! Battered mushrooms were also pretty good.

Now, for the important part.

The flavours!

In order… from favourite to least favourite of the flavours we had tonight:

1) Gar Par (Caesar + Parmesan)

2) Angels on the Moon (BBQ + Blue Cheese)

3) Sweet Escape (Honey Garlic + Gar Par)

4) Wild West (BBQ + Honey Mustard)

5) Spaghetti Western (Medium + Dry Italian + Parmesan)

Honestly, sweet escape was a close second, but, I did find it a little too sweet. Mind you, the gar par is a nice touch with the honey garlic, it gives it a bit more balance. I can’t really eat just honey garlic wings anymore without complaining it makes my teeth feel gross from the sweetness overload.

Angel on the moon was my all time favourite from wild wings since the first time I’ve ever had it as a teen (or whenever my first time going there was 😂) good to see they still have it! But Gar Par definitely took the lead, it seems to be a flavour my Husband and I always get no matter where we get wings (if it’s offered of course).

Wild west tastes good… but, it’s not really what I expected for some reason. Lastly, spaghetti western was just a no for me, the smell didn’t smell like what I thought it would smell like. Like it wasn’t HORRIBLE… but was far from amazing. My Husband actually chose that flavour, but he found the medium spicy, which means I get the rest of that flavour for lunch tomorrow.. yay me 🤦🏻‍♀️😂.
