Another thing we got to do this Summer was go to Toronto for Smackdown Live! My partner has gotten me back into watching WWE (to be honest I primarily care about the Women’s matches and because of work I don’t get to watch it as regularly as he does). One of his friends got him two tickets for his Birthday so we had the opportunity to experience a live show for the first time ever.

We took a GO train to get to Toronto that evening.

Fun fact: I may have only ever been on a train 4-5 times in my life.
Date night + excited to see Smackdown Live!
Our first stop was food. We decided to have Union Chicken which is located at Union Station in Toronto.
I had a buffalo chicken sandwich. Honestly so delicious. But super messy when you’re trying to rush and no spaces to sit. Highly recommend trying Union Chicken if you’re a chicken person.

Here are some photos/videos of the show:

The main event that day was The Edge, it was his last day on WWE. It was nice that his last time on WWE was in Toronto, since he is a professional Canadian Wrestler. Personally we thought he was going to retire, but turned out he decided to join AEW.
It was nice seeing how loved he was by everyone. There were some sentimental videos I didn’t catch.

Watching a Wrestling show in person is a million times better then watching it on the TV. I would totally go see another live show.
