Now that I’m on Maternity leave, there is no longer a “I hate Mondays” mood, and I love it.
My c-section incision feels a lot better. I can drive again, I can actually spend more time with my daughter and play with her and it feels great. Today was actually my first time with both kids, since my Husband is now back to work.
On Saturday I checked my weight for the first time since after the baby was born and I’m currently 217lbs, which yes, it’s high, but a huge milestone considering I was closer to 235-240 lbs before the baby was born. I’m now 10lbs away from pre-baby weight, so I’m super excited to reach that milestone. I’ve been kick starting my postpartum with lots of walking (to be honest, pretty early considering first few weeks should’ve been focused on recovery and resting). I’ve also been trying to eat better (I guess having a toddler helps, cause she just ends up eating a good chunk of my food anyway 🤦🏻♀️).
Purchased this lovely cold brew/iced tea pitcher, it comes with an infuser for loose leaf tea or fruits) from The Bay. Unfortunately The Bay is closing down, but got this pitcher for $20.

Another thing I purchased this weekend was a super cute Hello Kitty zipper hoody from Forever 21, I don’t have a photo of it yet (you’ll most likely see it on another post in the near future).
On Saturday we also ended up at Pickle Barrel to celebrate all the March Birthdays. I ordered surf and turf and it was delicious.

This week will mostly be busy with trying to do different things with my toddler to keep her entertained, since we now get all day every day together. I’m also going to a library with a friend, visiting with my parents and I have a few appointments.
